Will Chic Buds Power products charge my device?
All Chic Buds power solutions are fully compatible with smartphones and all USB devices available today.
Will Chic Buds Power products charge my iPhone?
Yes, Chic Buds power solutions are fully compatible with every iPhone. Just be sure to bring your own charging cable that comes with your iPhone.
How much charge will I get?
The Premium Power has 6000 mAh battery. It can charge two devices simultaneously and is compatible with smartphones and tablets.
The Crossbody Purse has a 3000 mAh battery. It will give an iPhone 6 about one full phone charge and a Samsung Galaxy S4 about 75% charge.
The Clutchette Power has a 2600 mAh battery. It will give an iPhone 6 about one full phone charge, and a Samsung Galaxy S4 about 75% charge.
The Slim Power battery has 2200 mAh and will give slightly less charge than the Clutchette Power.
Keep in mind there are a lot of variables that can affect charging, such as the number of apps open, if you are using your phone while charging, etc., so you may get a little more or a little less charge than what is stated.
Will Chic Buds Power products charge my tablet?
The Premium Power will charge smartphones as well as tablets. With the other charging devices (Crossbody Power, Clutchette Power, Slim Power), it is not recommended as most tablets charge at a higher current (2.1A) than smartphones that charge at (1A). Chic Buds power solutions currently charge at (1A). They will charge your tablet but at a slower speed than if you plugged it directly into an outlet.
How does the Chic Buds Clutchette Power/Crossbody Power product charge my phone or device?
To charge your device, simply plug in the charging cable that was included originally with your smartphone or device into the Clutchette Power/Crossbody Power cable labeled “OUT.”
How do I charge the Chic Buds Clutchette Power/Crossbody Power?
To charge your Clutchette Power/Crossbody Power, simply plug the attached Clutchette Power/Crossbody Power USB cable labeled “IN” into a USB port / wall adapter or into a computer.
Why does my fully charged Clutchette/Crossbody not seem to be working?
If your device does not begin to receive a charge once connected, open the inside zipper compartment where the battery is located and push the LED light indicator button to activate the device from sleep mode.
How does the Chic Buds Premium Power/Slim Power product charge my phone?
To charge your smartphone, simply plug the cable labeled “OUT” that was included with your Premium Power/Slim Power into the micro USB port labeled “OUT” on the Premium Power/Slim Power. Next plug the charge cable that was included originally with your phone into the other end of the Premium Power/Slim Power cable labeled “OUT.”
How do I charge my Chic Buds Premium Power/Slim Power?
To charge your Premium Power/Slim Power, simply plug the cable labeled “IN” included with your Slim Power into the micro USB port labeled “IN” on the Premium Power/Slim Power unit. Next plug the end of the Premium Power/Slim Power cable labeled “IN” into a USB port / wall adapter or into a computer.
Can I re-charge a Chic Buds Power product from a computer's USB port?
Yes, Chic Buds Power solutions can be re-charged from any high-current USB port, which are available on most computers. Lower current ports available on some computers, as well as USB ports on keyboards and hubs, may not effectively charge the power bank.
What are the best ways to charge your Chic Buds Power products?
In most cases, using a USB compatible wall-plug will result in a faster charge time but you can also charge Chic Buds power products by plugging them into the USB port of a computer or laptop.
How do I start charging my device once connected?
Your device will automatically begin to charge once successfully connected to a power source. If this does not occur, push the LED indicator button to activate the device from sleep mode.
How many charge cycles do you get from a Chic Buds power product?
ChicBuds power solutions are rechargeable for up to 500 cycles. A “cycle” is defined as a charge from start to finish. So if you are re-charging your battery when it is already half full, that would only be considered a “half a cycle.”
Can I charge my device while re-charging a Chic Buds power product?
Unfortunately our power solutions do not have pass-through charging capability. Please charge your Chic Buds power products separately from other devices.
Is it normal for my battery to heat up while charging my device?
Yes. It is normal for portable power devices to be warm during charge cycles.
CHIC BUDS (FxA) WARRANTY
Limited One (1) Year Warranty
FxA warrants the Product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of retail purchase by the original purchaser (the “Warranty Period”). FxA does not cover normal wear and tear such as cut cords, scratches, loss or theft. In the event that you, the original purchaser, discover a defect in materials or workmanship relating to the Product, and you deliver to FxA the defective Product and proof of purchase prior to the expiration of the Warranty Period, FxA will, at its sole discretion (a) repair the defect in materials or workmanship at no charge to you, or (b) provide you with a replacement Product that is substantially similar to the defective Product. If you receive a replacement Product, the warranty period for the new Product shall be the longer of (i) ninety (90) days following the date on which the Product is replaced, or (ii) the rest of the Warranty Period, whichever is later. Failure to provide proof of purchase voids this warranty. Any Product for which a replacement is sent automatically becomes the property of FxA. Additional information about warranty service may be obtained by contacting Customer Service at (855) 362-8346.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (A) THE ABOVE WARRANTY AND THE ABOVE REMEDIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY; AND (B) FXA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL STATUTORY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS. FxA is not responsible for any damages to any mobile device incurred through the use of this product.
