ChicBuds is a division of Fashion Audio LLC based in Irvine, California. ChicBuds is obsessed with providing flirty and fun fashion audio collections at an affordable price point. Our ChicBuds girl knows how to live life to the fullest while crushing on the latest fashion trends and partying just as hard as she works. She makes her own way in the world with her creative vision. We create all of our prints that appear on our products with our in-house art team, inspired by the world's most influential fashion runway shows. ChicBuds offers a product line up to solve the modern girls problems and certainly make life and audio a prettier place.
Sally Lyndley is the Creative Director for ChicBuds and Fashion Audio LLC. She is a renown stylist for global fashion brands including Marc by Marc Jacobs, J Brand, and BCBGeneration. Her styling has included celebs such as Victoria and David Beckham, Drew Barrymore and Kristen Wig. She has styled for prestigious magazines around the globe that include vogue, Teen Vogue, Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris, Vogue Japan and has been contributing fashion editor for Love Magazine over the past decade. Previously she was Fashion Manager at KCD Worldwide, producing runway shows for Versace, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren , Marc Jacobs and other designers. Sally love, love, loves fashion and is so excited to be creating the fun fashion audio collections with ChicBuds.
Cynthia Harriss is the CEO of ChicBuds and Fashion Audio LLC. She brings extensive leadership experience in growing iconic brands including serving as President of Gap North America; first woman to serve as President of Disneyland Resort and the Senior Vice President for the Disney Stores. Cynthia is thrilled to be a part of building a dynamic new brand in Chicbuds.
Robert Allison is a Principal, Managing Partner and the Founder of Innovate Partners LLC, the parent company for Fashion Audio LLC. Mr. Allison manages the firms Emerging Growthand Equity Fund that invests in technology, business services and consumer based companies. Innovate has led more than 15 investments since 1995 including Jabra, Interworks, Expensable, Ultimate Ears, Ocean Minded, Emisense, and Pear Sports. Mr. Allison also served as a General Partner of Edgewater Private Equity Funds, based in Chicago from 1998 through 2004. Prior to forming Innovate, Mr. Allison served as the President of Aurora Electronics, SVP of Arrow Electronics and Founder and CEO of Insight Electronics. Bob and his Innovate operating group bring over 15 years of product design, manufacturing and distribution experience to the Fashion Audio team.
Our Founders:
In 2008, entrepreneurs Kailynn Bowling and Nikki Carlson recognized the void in the market for personal audio technology created specifically for women, and launched ChicBuds with a feminine fashion aesthetic and excellent quality at affordable prices. In 2011 ChicBuds formed a partnership with Innovate Partners and re-organized as a division of Fashion Audio LLC. Kailynn and Nikki are currently members of the Board of Advisors for Fashion Audio LLC.
